Association Resource Group (ARG) originally formed in 1999 under the name Saddle Partners of America (SPA).  At that time, a group of equine enthusiasts came together for the purpose of educating their community of horse owners.  SPA quickly recognized a need in this community for additional liability protection that was either limited or excluded from home or farm insurance policies.

To address this need, and to help individual horse owners afford the additional coverage, SPA developed a partnership with Equisure, Inc. to offer Excess Personal Liability insurance to their members.

In order to expand their offerings, in 2006 non-profit operations were transferred to Association Resource Group (ARG).  The membership model moved from individual to organizational, with membership available to any type of club or organization.  ARG currently serves equine and K-9 groups.

ARG's mission is to provide value to organizations in the following ways.

                 1.  Enhance the organization's ability to provide a quality membership.

                 2. Contribute to the knowledgeable operations of the organization.
